Hilton Head Island and directions to our Villa

Hiltonhead is a wonderful place to visit all year round. In the summer you can enjoy a climate the similar to the Caribbean, and in winter, you can enjoy mild days for golf and walking.

The average daytime temperatures are:

Golf is a major sport on the island. Here is a view of one of the many great golf courses on the island. The name is very appropriately Oceanview.

Our Villa is at a very convenient location on the island. To reach our Villa, take Route 278, the William Hilton Parkway. This is the right fork in the road immediately after you come on to the island and the Cross Island Expressway splits off. Its a bit confusing because its opposite to what you think it should be, but follow the signs and you'll be fine. Take special care if you come onto the island after dark. There are few street lights and it is very difficult to work out where you are heading. A GPS would be very helpful.

Follow 278 around two bends to the right. Keep in the left lane but dont go too far left or you will end up on a turn lane. After you pass a sign to the Beaufort County Government Center, look for a small sign to Folly Field in the center island. Turn left immediately after the sign.

You may see a street sign that says Matthews. Don't worry, its one of those weird intersections where the street on the right has a different name to the one on the left. If you see a business called Carrabbas Adventure center on the corner, you'll know you are turning at the right place.

The Beach and Tennis club is a short way down Folly Field road on the right. If you count more than three turnings, you've probably gone too far. The security gate will be directly ahead of you as you enter the complex. Do not go to the reception because we are renting our condo privately.

After you drive your car through the security gate, turn left, then turn right. Keep on going until you can go no further and then turn left around the pool side of Admirals Row. Park as close as possible to the oceanfront. There will be short flight of steps up to the elevator. Take the elevator to the third floor. Turn left out of the elevator and pass to the right of the atrium. You will find our villa on the right.
