Around our Villa

This is a view of the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club where our Villa is located.

We enjoy the benefits of a unique Direct Oceanfront location in a separate building from the main parts of the facility. We are in the Admiral's Row A building. You can see the location of our Villa on the photograph above. We are direct Oceanfront, the closest in the complex.

Even though we are in a separate building with a premiere location, we have full use of all of the facilities of the complex. It is important not to confuse our location with others that are advertised as Oceanfront or Oceanview. You can see that the frontage on the other buildings is a substantial distance away from the beach. There are only 32 units in the whole complex that are truly oceanfront. They are all located in our building and ours is one of them.

Looking at the photograph above, access to the Ocean is either by the steps you see to the right of our Villa, or by a ground level pathway to the lower left of our Villa. There is an elevator in the building and access to the parking lot can be achieved either by stairs at the front or via a ramp at the rear of the building. There are miles of beaches in both directions that you can enjoy walking and the swimming in the ocean is very safe.

Within the building are coin operated laundry facilities.

Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club boasts two swimming pools. One is pretty much a private pool for our building and you can just see it at the left center of the photograph above. A photo of the pool is below.

The other pool is a large Olympic size pool located directly on the beach. You can see this to the right and above our villa on the aerial photograph. You are completely free to use this pool as our guests at the Beach and Tennis club.

The pool area features a bar and restaurant in season. There are also supervised children's activities in the summer.

Above is a photo of the Rum Runners bar and restaurant on the beachfront. This is a fun place to hang out with great ocean views a few steps away.

Going back to the photograph from the air , you can see two of the ten lighted tennis courts that are available for guests and one third of the way across at the top, you can see the central building that houses the front desk, administration, the mall, shops, the Kings Wharf Pub, the Neptune restaurant, and the auditorium and convention center where many events are held and there is often entertainment for guests.

Bicycle rental is available and an extensive network of cycle paths is accessible just outside the complex.

Golf courses and fine restaurants are a short drive away.
